Hi I’m Lauren! I am from California and I moved to the UK 3 years ago. In my teens, I loved theatre, writing, and history. My favorite hobby was Model United Nations. After high school, I went to university at UC Davis to study community development. I got involved in activism work about healthcare access. I've now found a way to combine my interests in theatre and social change using arts as a way to do research. I love facilitating groups and bringing people together. I received my Masters in Applied Theatre which really focuses on this. Because I love learning about other people's interests, I can jump into a variety of groups. For fun, I do Live Action Role Playing and am a bard celebrity in a fantasy universe. I also run one-off RPGs for my friends (with loose rules). I work as a researcher focused on Autistic/ADHD young people's mental health. My team is currently developing tools for schools to better appreciate neurodivergent needs and emotional experiences. I also have experience as a youth worker and drama teacher in both the UK and US!
