What to expect
In gaming club we explore interesting new indie games, talk about the latest releases, share and play games weโve created ourselves and learn a bit about what it takes to make great games! Run by games designers and streamers Ollie and Mivi, the club is designed for gamers curious to explore the world beyond Roblox, and for budding games designers, artists, world-builders, community managers and streamers.
Between meet-ups, get to know other games-obsessed Uncommoners in our online community, and take part in creative community challenges.

How meet-ups work
We host 4-12 club members in each session. All sessions are run on Zoom, with participants welcome to have cameras off or on, to watch, message or talk. We often use anonymous chat and quiz tool Slido so everyone takes part in the same communication style, and to reduce demands for anxious or PDA members.
To start each session weโll play a small quiz or game in Slido. Weโll then chat about games weโve been playing or designing, with session leaders sharing great games theyโve been playing. Before using creative prompts and games to explore an aspect of gaming thatโs inspiring us at the moment!
At the end of each session we often talk about what we might like to do next week!
